Murali started his career in 1985 with State Bank of Mysore. His career evolved when banks were modernizing their systems shifting from traditional banking methods to modern software based banking systems. It was also during his development period that India emerged as a software destination and developed a number of home grown IT companies. After 15 years as a experienced banker, he joined the software world. From 2000, as the IT sector boomed, he executed a number projects in India, Egypt and Hong Kong. 

 

Murali is an important and integral member of our leadership team. With 33 years of experience in banking, deal making and IT Sector, he directly advises our projects and deals in the IT and Technology Space. He also occasionlly advises on different deal strutures for our Private Equity and M&A transactions. Murali has been associated with some of the biggest names in IT such as Mahindra’s, Wipro and has also advised Central Bank of Egypt on their IT Infrastructure and Software deployment.

 

He is also invited as a visiting faculty member by number of prestigious MBA institutions in India on the topics of IT Security, Banking, Financial Management, Technology Management and Business - Government Environment. He is also been a speaker on seminars relating to Business Ethics, Leadership and Corporate Governance. Murali often travels on a regular basis on professional assignments and speaking engagements.

In his leisure time, he enjoys reading, discussing geo-political matters, mentoring youngsters and traveling.
